Illuminated
August Adams is paid millions by his clients to hunt for rare books--treasures lying dormant on forgotten shelves like unseen Picassos or unheard Mozarts. But now, August faces the most difficult challenge of his life: he must unravel the clues hidden in the illuminations of the Gutenberg Bible in order to save his son. His journey takes him to the Library of Congress where he seeks the aid of his ex-wife, beautiful book curator April Adams. They soon discover that others with less than honorable intentions are also searching for the Gutenberg Bible. As the quest continues, August finds himself trapped in a web of international thieves, government cover-ups, and take-no-prisoners treasure seekers. A mystery hundreds of years in the making ultimately leads August to learn the truth about the book . . . and about himself.
